This past weekend Esteban and I went to Ibarra. E had to help his parents with their business and then we got to spend the rest of our time at cute little hacienda a little bit outside of Ibarra. E organized everything and I got to have lots of fun. Perfect weekend!
The hacienda had so many animals – horses, chickens, llamas, goats, dogs, and a flock of snowy egrets!! There was a sauna, a heated pool, and a game room with a fireplace full of fun stuff. We had a great time. (Except on the way back – a two and a half hour bus trip took FIVE hours!! Traffic – UGH!) I can’t wait for our next trip to the coast in a couple of weeks!
