This past week I was lucky enough to spend seven glorious in the Galapagos with my friend, Nina. I cannot describe the natural beauty I witnessed in a way that will make anyone understand it. The islands were so colorful and had amazing beaches. The people were happy, relaxed, and proud of their home. And the animals! Oh, the animals! I saw sea lions, pelicans, marine iguanas, blue footed boobies, penguins, barracudas, scores of colorful fish, turtles, tortoises, and tons of flying fish. The flying fish were my favorite animal by far. I watched them fly 40 feet avoiding sea lions. On top of being amazing products of evolution, they were beautiful too! Unfortunately, i never had my camera ready when I saw one leap out of the ocean.
We visited five islands in seven days and each place was more amazing than the next. Put the Galapagos on your bucket list. I’ll let my pictures speak for themselves.
