Pinemór

My cousins, Jeanne and Marty, invited me to their summer camp in the Adirondacks for the 4th of July weekend. It was so much fun! They’ve owned the place for a while but since I haven’t been home the last few summers, I haven’t had the chance to experience it!

The way that Jeanne has decorated every inch or the care Marty heaps onto the place are just a couple signs of the love and happiness that make Pinemór as magical as it is. There are also Pinemór traditions like earning a T-shirt once you’ve slept over, getting your picture taken on the bluff in said T-shirt, and signing the guest book each time you go. You feel like you are stepping back in time because everything has been preserved so well from the cool old ‘fridge to Marty’s Chris-Craft boat.

Cell phones barely work up there. There were no computers or televisions. I could never seem to find a clock. It was as if time came to standstill.

I’m so glad I finally got to experience the magic! Amazing. Everyone should have awesome cousins like mine. 🙂
